Juliana

My favorite subjects are children. I love how expressive they are but also how honest their expressions are! If they are happy, you’ll see it all over them. If they aren’t having any of that picture-takin’ stuff, you’ll see it all over their face. Unlike adults who have been told to hide or suppress their emotions, children will let you know.

Juliana (I think this is how you spell her name) is the niece of my friends, Andy and Heather. I took this picture at their daughter, Destiny’s 2nd birthday party last month and just now got around to finishing editing it. Juliana has been through a lot in her short few years. About 3 years ago she was in the hospital because she had a tumor behind her eye. She lost her eye but she is healthy now! Praise God!
